The AED Green Book was in true book form for a long time. In 2017, the last book form was printed and, afterwards, it was only available online through EquipmentWatch.
The “AED Green Book” was sold to the EquipmentWatch business in the early 2000’s. It was previously owned by AED, the “Association of Equipment Distributors”.
It is based on a large dataset of advertised rental rates from rental suppliers. It is then benchmarked/average by asset type and region to provide a source of rate intelligence to contractors.
