Skanska Integrated Solutions Announces Completion of Harmony School of Science Middle and High School in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Skanska, a leading global construction and development firm, today announced that its program management and consulting group, Skanska Integrated Solutions (SIS), has completed construction of the Harmony School of Science Middle/High School on Wiseman Road in San Antonio, Texas. SIS was the designated program manager for the $33M project, this included overseeing the progress and quality of construction activities, as well as collaborating with all key stakeholders to ensure this project was delivered in a timely fashion.

Totaling over 90,000 square feet, the new school building features multiple classrooms, science labs, technology labs, administrative offices, a counselors’ suite, and creative spaces, as well as a gymnasium, kitchen and cafeteria. The project also included the construction of a parking lot, an athletic field, and an outdoor courtyard with a basketball court. Some of the services Skanska provided included the on-site quality assurance inspections, budget management, schedule monitoring, pay application reviews, document control, change order evaluation, as well recording progress thought the various reporting tools.
